Fidelity Exploration & Production Company provides water produced through coalbed natural gas production activities to coal mines adjacent to its operations. The coal mines use the water for dust suppression, equipment cleaning and other mine uses. In utilizing the coalbed natural gas-produced water, the mines do not have to use public water sources that are available for irrigation.
